Links and SEO
Are nofollow links good for SEO?
Nofollow links tell search engines not to pass ranking credit, so they aren’t a direct ranking tool. They can still bring visitors, put your brand in front of the right readers and make your link profile look natural. Google asks for paid links to be marked sponsored or nofollow. Read the full guide.
Do you offer dofollow links?
Each blog sets its own link policy. Google asks for paid links to be marked sponsored or nofollow, and we show each blog’s policy before you book. We don’t promise rankings.
What is a dofollow link?
“Dofollow” is an informal name for a normal link with no nofollow, sponsored or ugc value, so search engines may follow it and count it.
What does rel="sponsored" mean?
It’s a value Google introduced to mark links that are paid for, such as in sponsored posts. Google says nofollow is also acceptable for paid links.
Can you guarantee rankings?
No, and we never promise them. A sponsored post is a way to reach relevant readers, not a guaranteed ranking boost.
Sponsored posts
What is a sponsored post?
A sponsored post is an article on someone else’s blog that a brand pays for. In the UK it must be clearly labelled as advertising.
Will the post be labelled as sponsored?
Yes. Every placement we book is labelled “Advertisement feature” as a condition of booking.
Do I have to write the post?
Either way works. Some bloggers write the post themselves, while others accept supplied copy. This is confirmed in each site’s quote.
Which niches do you cover?
Mainly family, parenting and travel; ask us about other niches.
How long does a post stay up?
It depends on the blog. How long the post stays live, and what happens if it’s removed, are confirmed in writing before you book.
